This is our primary and preferred contact method for all inquiries. To help us respond quickly, please include a clear subject line and, where relevant, the full URL of the page you are writing about.
Typical Response Time
We aim to reply within 2 to 3 business days. Reports of incorrect calculations are prioritized and usually handled sooner. Privacy and data requests are handled within the timeframes required by applicable law, as described in our Privacy Policy.
What To Contact Us About
Calculation Errors and Outdated Data
This is the most valuable message you can send us. If a result looks wrong, or if a tool is using last year's tax brackets, contribution limits, or mileage rate, let us know. Please include:
- The URL of the tool
- The exact values you entered
- The result the tool produced
- The result you expected, and your source if you have one
Use the subject line "Calculation Error" so it reaches the right place immediately.
Bug Reports and Technical Problems
If a tool will not load, a button does not respond, a PDF or CSV export fails, or the layout breaks on your device, tell us. Please include your browser and version, your device type, and what you were doing when the problem occurred.
Tool Suggestions
If there is a calculation you keep doing by hand, or a US-specific problem you cannot find a decent free tool for, describe it. Reader suggestions directly shape what we build next.
Content Corrections
Beyond the math itself, if an explanation, a state-specific rule, a deadline, or a described process is inaccurate or out of date, we want to fix it. Please point to the specific sentence and, where possible, the correct source.
Advertising and Business Inquiries
For advertising, sponsorship, partnership, or media inquiries, email us with "Business Inquiry" in the subject line. Please note that we do not accept paid placement within tool logic, calculation results, or our explanatory content.
Privacy and Data Requests
To exercise a data right under the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, or another applicable privacy law, email us with "Privacy Request" in the subject line and describe the request. Because we do not require accounts and do not collect personal identifiers to operate our tools, we may hold very little or no personal data about you. If we cannot verify or locate data associated with you, we will explain that in our response. See our Privacy Policy for the full description of your rights.
Copyright and DMCA Notices
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, email us with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line and include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The exact URL of the allegedly infringing material on this site
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf

What We Cannot Help With
To set expectations honestly, there are things we are not able to do. We cannot:
- Give personal tax advice. We cannot tell you how to file, what to claim, how to handle an audit, or what your specific liability is. Contact a CPA or enrolled agent.
- Give financial or investment advice. We cannot tell you whether to refinance, buy or rent, take a loan, choose a retirement plan, or claim Social Security at a particular age. Contact a licensed financial advisor.
- Give legal advice. We cannot advise you on your accident claim, your lease dispute, your small claims case, or any other legal matter. Contact an attorney licensed in your state.
- Give medical advice. We cannot interpret symptoms, medications, test results, or treatment options. Contact your physician or a qualified healthcare provider.
- Give insurance advice. We cannot recommend a policy, plan, or coverage level, or tell you how your specific claim will be handled. Contact a licensed insurance agent or your insurer.
- Access, recover, or delete your saved tool data. Data saved by our tools stays in your own browser's local storage. We cannot see it and we cannot retrieve it. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently.
- Contact a third party on your behalf. We cannot deal with the IRS, your insurer, your employer, your landlord, a hospital billing department, or a court for you.
- Provide support for advertisers' products. If you clicked an advertisement and have a problem with that company's product or service, contact them directly. See our Disclaimer.
