Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 28, 2026
Last updated: July 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how USAFreeTools ("we", "us", "our"), operator of https://www.usafreetools.online/ (the "Site"), handles information when you visit the Site and use our calculators and tools.

Read this policy carefully. Many of our tools ask for sensitive figures such as salary, medical bills, and debt balances, so it is important that you understand exactly where those numbers go. The short version: they stay on your device.

1. Summary of Key Points

  • You do not need an account, a login, or an email address to use this Site.
  • Our calculators run in your web browser. The values you type are processed on your own device and are not transmitted to us.
  • We never ask you to link a bank account, credit card, brokerage, insurer, or payroll provider.
  • Where a tool remembers your entries, it uses your browser's local storage on your device. We cannot read it.
  • We use third-party services, including Google AdSense and analytics, which set cookies and collect technical data. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • This Site is not directed to children under 13.

2. Information You Enter Into Our Tools

This is the most important section, so we are placing it first.

Our calculators and trackers are built as client-side tools. When you enter information such as your wages, withholding allowances, self-employment income, tips, loan balances, credit card debt, mortgage figures, insurance deductibles, medical bills, prescription costs, symptoms, medications, mileage, home inventory items, or invoice details, that information is processed by code running inside your own browser on your own device.

We do not receive, transmit, store, log, or have any technical ability to read the values you enter into our tools.

2.1 Local Storage

Several of our tools are designed to be used repeatedly over time, such as mileage logs, shift and tip trackers, deductible progress trackers, home inventories, and expense logs. So that your work is not lost when you close the tab, these tools may save your entries using your browser's local storage (including localStorage or IndexedDB).

Local storage is a feature of your own browser. Data held there:

  • Remains on the device where you entered it
  • Is not sent to our servers
  • Is not accessible to us
  • Is not synced across your devices by us
  • Is permanently deleted if you clear your browser's site data, use your browser's "clear browsing data" function for this Site, or use a tool's own reset or delete option where one is provided

Because this data is under your control and not ours, you are responsible for maintaining your own copies of anything important. Where a tool offers PDF or CSV export, we recommend exporting and saving records you need to keep. We cannot recover data that has been cleared from your browser.

2.2 Photographs and File Uploads

Some tools invite you to attach photographs or documents, for example receipt images in an HSA or FSA tracker, damage and document photos in an accident checklist, or item photographs in a home inventory. Unless a specific tool's page states otherwise in clear terms, these files are handled entirely within your browser for display, storage in local storage, and inclusion in exports. They are not uploaded to us.

2.3 Exports

PDF and CSV files generated by our tools are created in your browser and saved directly to your device or shared by you. We do not receive a copy of any export you generate.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Like nearly all websites, the Site and its service providers automatically receive certain technical information when you visit. This may include:

  • IP address (which may be truncated or anonymized by some services)
  • Browser type, version, and language settings
  • Operating system and device type
  • Screen or viewport size
  • Referring URL and exit pages
  • Pages viewed, time on page, and date and time of access
  • General geographic location inferred from IP address, typically at country, region, or city level

This information is used to keep the Site working correctly, understand which tools are used and where they can be improved, diagnose technical problems, detect abuse and fraud, and serve advertising. It is aggregated for analysis and is not used by us to identify you personally.

4. Information You Send Us Voluntarily

If you email us, for example to report a calculation error or submit a privacy request, we receive the information contained in your message, including your email address, your name if you provide it, and anything else you choose to include. We use it solely to respond to and resolve your inquiry, and we retain such correspondence only as long as necessary for that purpose or as required by law.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in emails to us. If you are reporting a calculation problem, use representative or rounded figures rather than your real salary, account numbers, medical details, or government identifiers.

5. Hosting Platform

This Site is hosted on Blogger, a platform operated by Google LLC. As the hosting provider, Google processes technical request data such as IP addresses and user agent strings in order to deliver pages to you, and may set cookies for platform functionality and security. This processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or its service providers. The Site and its third-party partners may use the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Site to function and to be delivered securely by our hosting platform.
  • Preference cookies and local storage. Used to remember your choices, such as tool inputs you asked to be saved.
  • Analytics cookies. Used to understand aggregate traffic patterns and tool usage.
  • Advertising cookies. Used by advertising partners to serve and measure advertisements, limit how often you see the same advertisement, and in some cases to personalize advertisements.

Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser allows you to block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, delete existing cookies, or be prompted before a cookie is set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working. Blocking advertising cookies does not remove advertisements, but it may make them less relevant to you.

7. Advertising

This Site is free to use and is supported by third-party advertising.

7.1 Google AdSense and Third-Party Vendors

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve advertisements based on your prior visits to this Site or to other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve advertisements to you based on your visits to this Site and other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Alternatively, you may opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info, the NAI opt-out page, or, for users in Europe, youronlinechoices.com.
  • Third-party advertising partners may place and read cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies on your device, and may collect technical and usage information as described in Section 3. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies and are not covered by this policy.

For more information on how Google uses data when you use partner sites, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

7.2 Advertising Does Not Affect Results

Advertisements are separated from tool interfaces and calculation results. Advertiser relationships do not influence the figures our calculators produce, the data sources we use, or the content of our explanations. We do not sell placement within tool logic or results.

7.3 Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Where required by law, visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are presented with a consent notice for the use of non-essential cookies and data processing for personalized advertising, and may accept, refuse, or manage their choices. You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the consent control provided on the Site or through your browser settings.

8. Analytics

We may use analytics services, such as Google Analytics and Blogger's built-in statistics, to understand aggregate Site usage. These services collect the categories of technical information described in Section 3 and report it to us in aggregate form. They do not provide us with the values you enter into our tools. Information about Google Analytics is available in the Google Privacy Policy, and you may opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We may also use Google Search Console, which reports aggregate search performance data and does not identify individual visitors.

9. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we receive to:

  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Site
  • Diagnose and fix technical faults
  • Understand which tools are used and how to improve them
  • Decide which new tools to build
  • Serve and measure advertising that funds the Site
  • Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, scraping, and security incidents
  • Respond to your inquiries
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

10. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests for operating and securing the Site, aggregate analytics, fraud prevention, and non-personalized advertising, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
  • Consent for non-essential cookies, personalized advertising, and any optional processing that requires it. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation where processing is required to comply with applicable law.

11. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share the values you enter into our tools, because we never receive them.

Information may be processed by or disclosed to:

  • Service providers that operate the Site on our behalf, including our hosting platform, advertising partners, and analytics providers, limited to what each needs to perform its function
  • Legal and regulatory authorities where disclosure is required by law, court order, or valid legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of our users or the public
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply to information transferred

12. International Data Transfers

The Site is operated with the assistance of service providers that may process data in the United States and other countries. Where information is transferred out of the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, our providers rely on lawful transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or applicable adequacy decisions and certification frameworks.

13. Data Retention

  • Tool data: retained in your browser's local storage on your device until you clear it. We hold no copy.
  • Technical and analytics data: retained by our service providers in accordance with their own retention schedules, generally in aggregate or pseudonymized form.
  • Email correspondence: retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, keep a record of a legal or privacy request, or comply with law.

14. Your Privacy Rights

14.1 GDPR and UK GDPR Rights

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

14.2 California Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, disclosed, or sold, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. Certain third-party advertising cookie practices may nonetheless be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You may opt out using the advertising controls listed in Section 7 and your browser's cookie settings, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where technically supported.

14.3 Other US State Privacy Laws

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others as they take effect, may have comparable rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of targeted advertising. We extend these rights to all US residents regardless of state.

14.4 How To Exercise Your Rights

Email us at Kushalhranpura@gmail.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line, describing your request and your state or country of residence. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Please understand a practical limitation: because we do not require accounts and do not collect identifiers that link tool activity to a person, we usually hold no personal data that can be connected to you. If we cannot verify your identity or locate data relating to you, we will tell you so and explain why. If your request concerns data saved in your browser by one of our tools, you can delete it yourself immediately by clearing your browser's data for this Site, and we have no ability to do it for you.

15. Children's Privacy

This Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at Kushalhranpura@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

16. Do Not Track

Browsers may send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because no common industry standard for interpreting these signals has been adopted, the Site does not currently respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where technically supported, and you can use the cookie and advertising controls described above at any time.

17. Data Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, which encrypts traffic between your browser and our hosting platform. Our client-side architecture is itself a security measure: sensitive figures you enter are never transmitted, so there is no central database of user financial or medical information to breach.

Data stored in your browser's local storage is protected by your own device and browser security. If you use a shared, public, or work computer, we strongly recommend clearing site data after using tools that hold sensitive records, and being aware that anyone with access to your unlocked device and browser profile can view that data.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

18. Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party websites, including official government sources such as the IRS, the SSA, CMS, and state agencies, as well as advertiser destinations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

19. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, our service providers, or the law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be indicated clearly on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
